In 1982 Rolandas Pocius was born in central Lithuania, Kėdainiai.

In 2004, after being expelled from college in Vilnius, he self-studied various master’s techniques and photographic textures. In 2016, the artist’s personal breakdown made him search for uncharted fields. Outhor started to explore the surreality of reality documenting on camera London streets, landscapes, and people. The artist adopted the impressionistic longer-exposure approach in his workflow as a central point to create sketchy, painterly effects. He transformed reality into a subjective interpretation. His photographs are mostly monochrome, not exact, often out of focus, blurry and distorted as a reference to the world he sees around him.

The artist is based in Vilnius, London and Reykjavik.
